Commissioning of new equipment

Commissioning of new equipment is important to verify the new equipment is operating as per purchase standards and or user standards.

In the early stages it usually involves mostly motors, and once driven equipment is put on line in regular operating conditions we are able to check them as well.

Many times, equipment is okay but the structure is not sufficient enough to support normal operation. Other times the structure is resonant at operating speed which cases high vibration levels. Impact testing can then be used to verify the natural frequency of the components of the system.
